Justice

On our journey has involved us engaging with issues of justice across the globe.
- Connecting with women and children impacted by HIV through their partners or having been trafficked into the red light area of a major city in South Asia
- Helping combat urban oppression in deprived areas of a large town in the south of the UK
- Supporting the creation of a faith community in the USA that is counter-cultural and welcoming to all
- Assisting communities along the border with Mexico where women were significantly at risk and subsequently where communities were harassed by gang violence of drug cartels
- Enabling people in cities across the USA to create ‘Traffick Free Communities’ that supported those vulnerable or caught up in human trafficking as well as those who were survivors of human trafficking.
It has also resulted in Linsey gaining an MA in theology and mission.
We are also empowered by the Nazareth Manifesto that was expressed by Jesus of Nazareth. The words are found in the writings of a man called Luke who was one of the followers of Jesus. He highlights that Jesus said:
“The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, (and) to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
We have a passion to help people become aware of the injustices that are existing in our world and in the communities where they live.
We therefore work with all people to help support those who are poor in body, mind and spirit and we believe that liberation is possible for those who are trapped by destructive physical and spiritual environments. As we follow this mandate, our desire is to work and connect with people and communities helping them create their own solutions and in the process see how much they are loved and how they can love others, the community they are part of and the God who loves and created them.
This journey of discovery is organic and creates differing outcomes depending of the bespoke culture the person or group is living amongst.
Therefore we are available to assist in any way that helps; facilitating training workshops or resourcing presentations to any interested parties as well as sharing insights through interviews or the written word.
