Dry Bones
This passion for renewing, connecting and restoring started a long time ago as we were inspired by a picture of dry bones coming to life that is in a book by a prophet called Ezekiel. This book is in the Old Testament and the Torah
Let’s imagine: a valley of dry bones. Not a pretty sight. Death, decay, dryness. And God breathes life into these dead, decaying dry bones. It’s quite a picture – suddenly there is a deafening noise as these bones start to come together and there’s thousands and thousands of them.
A scary picture, but as Ezekiel watches this vision, the bones are joined with ligaments and muscle and then covered in flesh and skin until the final step when God breathes life into these bodies and a massive crowd of people are standing there, living and breathing.
A powerful throng of people. A united group of people ready to be who God had created them to be.
