Life Coaching and Christian Spiritual Direction

Faith, hope, and love, underlined by the justice God showed through the birth, life, teaching, death of Jesus of Nazareth, underpins how we try to seek to live our lives and encourage others to follow the same path.

We provide reflective and relational support for people navigating:

  • Life transition
  • Organisational change
  • Leadership pressure
  • Personal challenges
  • Burnout and resilience
  • Vocational discernment
  • Spiritual exploration and growth

“Creating Space for Reflection, Healing and Transformation”

Safe places to explore personal development and unpack and discuss profoundly personal and possibly emotive topics can be hard to find.

One of the areas of our work is helping create safe places and spaces for people to delve deeply into areas of personal development as well as topics that can be emotive and confusing, but that need to be explored to achieve greater personal and community understanding.

Kevin is a qualified Life Coach, Executive Coach, Spiritual Director and Associate Coach with Moringa Leadership.

  • Spiritual direction
  • Leadership mentoring
  • Transition support
  • Reflective practice and soul care

Engaging the services of a coach or spiritual director is an invaluable investment in personal development. A coach offers a person tailored bespoke guidance and support to navigate life’s challenges and help to achieve personal goals.

Our approach is to serve as objective, non-judgmental allies who provide a fresh perspective on various aspects of life, helping individuals gain clarity on their values, aspirations, and priorities.

Coaching is not counselling and does not seek to help the client overcome past traumas or current mental, emotional or psychological issues that require therapeutic intervention.  It is not a consulting or advisory role providing the client with advice or a different opinion for them to consider.  It is not mentoring which is related to a person with experience and skills passing those on to someone seeking to learn. Instead, coaching is about facilitating a client in their journey of self-discovery and in finding a way to grow, develop and reach their goals.  It is not focused on the past but on the present and future.

We have lived and worked with and amongst people of many different faiths and networked with many people of faith.

We understand that the word ‘church’, as mentioned in the New Testament, refers to the people who follow the way of Jesus and not to denominations, structures or buildings. This, therefore, gives us freedom to support and encourage many expressions of ‘church’ as they engage in personal or community-wide development and growth.

We also take on the words of Jesus when he said that the most important commandments are to love God with all your heart and to love your neighbour as yourself.

This passage was written in a story the disciple Mark wrote. It highlights that the second most important commandment refers to unselfishly loving your neighbour and seeking the best for them. It refers to acting in a manner that will benefit others.

Therefore, we believe in demonstrating integrity and expressing compassion to all, irrespective of circumstances, and without distinction of age, disability, gender, sexual orientation, race or political or religious and faith-based opinions.
